  • Have a beginning, middle and end.
  • Have 'hot points'. Important parts on your journey to success which add interest.
  • Practice telling your story to colleagues, family members or pretend you are being interviewed while driving.
  • Remember to have a message or aim for doing the interview.
  • Perhaps it's to get people to take action and find your product ,or book you as a speaker.
  • Who is the audience or readership. That will determine how much you tell and what you tell.
